Take the Mysuru–Chamundi Hill Road (SH-88). The hill road is well-maintained with parking available at the base and at the top near the temple.

On Foot (Steps)

The 1,008-step foot path starts from Mysuru city below. Many devotees climb barefoot as a vow of devotion. The path passes the famous Nandi statue at step 400.
